----------------
Narcissa’s always been the one that stands out to the people, always the one that people love more and empathizes with more. She is the one that people see, she is the one people hear, she is the one people want.
Bellatrix doesn’t really understand why, but then again, Bellatrix doesn’t really care.
She doesn’t, really.
But when her parents announce Narcissa’s engagement to Lucius Malfoy, Bellatrix is enraged. She smiles and cordially congratulates her sister, as is expected of her, but secretly she sneers and she scoffs but most of all, Bellatrix plots.
Narcissa is a weakling — she would never be good enough for a Malfoy.
And so Bellatrix seeks Lucius out. She talks, she smiles, she flirts… She lowers his defense and she starts to put ideas in his head.
‘Narcissa cannot satisfy your needs.’
Lucius starts to waver and Bellatrix smiles as she shrugs her robes off slowly.
When Lucius presses his lips against hers, all Bellatrix can think of is that she wins.
She is Bellatrix Black.
She always wins.
