Drabble: Casanova

A/N: I blame drcjsnider  for all the Draco/Rose drabbles that have been popping out. She has completely drilled that pairing into my head. Hmmm... I need a Draco/Rose icon. Has anyone ever seen any?

He drew her into his arms and together they swayed along with the music that was playing softly in the background.

 

“I’ve missed you,” he murmured.

 

Rose smiled softly. “Tell me you are kidding.”

 

“I am kidding,” he conceded.

 

She couldn’t help herself and let out a loud chuckle.

 

“It was what you wanted to hear, no?” She was sure he had meant for it to sound nonchalant, but she could hear the hint of teasing in his tone.

 

“No,” she played along, “What I really wanted to hear was how miss-able I am to you. And of how miserable you felt when I wasn’t around. Surely you, the great Casanova of the Wizarding world, could tell.”

 

“I don’t know about miss-able,” he started, nuzzling his nose against her neck, “but you are most definitely kissable.” As if to demonstrate, he kissed her. “Yes, most definitely kissable.”

 

“So now I’m kissable but not miss-able?” she asked, her head cocking slightly to the right.

 

“If it makes you feel better, Ms. Weasley,” he started, trailing his fingers down her arm, “you are both kissable and miss-able and I’m truly miserable without you.”

 

“I don’t think you mean it…” she teased laughingly.

 

“I would love to further prove it in the bedroom.” As if to emphasize his words, he pulled her in for a fiery kiss.

 

“You are a rogue, Draco Malfoy.”

 

“But you can’t help but to feel attracted to me?” He started steering her in the direction of his room.

 

“My dad would blow a vessel if he hears of this.”

 

“It just makes it all the more thrilling, no?”

 

She laughed.

I love the teasing tone and word-play between the two of them. Also love Rose calling Draco of his 'i missed you' comment. Great stuff !

Aw, this was so great! I loved the teasing between them. I've never read Draco/Rose before (wasn't really open to the pairing, tbh), but I saw this one linked at drcjsnider's journal and I had to read it! I'm looking forward to searching for more Draco/Rose fic. ;D
